One of our favored french wedding cultures is the “vin d’honneur” which is like a concoction hours for your attendees to celebrate the new few before their dinner. It’s a great way to mingle with your visitors while sipping on champagne and enjoying the company of your loved ones.

Another fun tradition is la jaretiere which is a symbolic act french brides for marriage where the groom will get the garter that is thrown by his bride- to- be and don it around his neck as he and his wife dance along. This is a fun, frolicsome convention that shows off the child’s nice fun and cheery spirit!

This is a very important part of the bridal as it’s what makes your union officially bound in France. Commonly this is done the day before the bride and can be followed by a catholic or metaphorical ceremony for those who wish to add more service to their large moment.

Finally, the french believe that monotony is a sin and as such, they fill their weddings with lots of entertainment. For instance, it’s very common for the bridal party and close pals to execute a monologue for the couple. They’re a great way to break the ice, acquire everyone laughing and show the newlyweds that their customers are there to support them in their pleasure.
